Hilton Las Vegas Buffet
The Hilton Las Vegas Buffet, known simply as “The Buffet”, may not be the best buffet in Las Vegas, it may not be the cheapest buffet in Las Vegas, it may not even be among the top ten Las Vegas buffets, but it is a very nice buffet and it is a moderately priced which makes it affordable to everyone. A remodeling of “the Buffet” took place this past December and although it was not a complete overhaul, some nice changes were made.
As we mentioned before, we will advise you of the sugar free and/or no sugar added foods we find at the buffets we cover. This usually means ‘deserts’! Well, the Hilton Las Vegas Buffet has a few and we mean a few. Their sugar free and/or no sugar added deserts are certainly nothing to rave over. Acutally what they offer is a token just to say they have some. So there is nothing for the diabetics out there to get excited about. For those of you who are not diabetic, their desert bar, although nothing to write home about, is adequate.
Hilton Las Vegas Buffet, What To Expect
In our opinion, there is something at the Las Vegas Hilton Buffet that allows it to rank right up there with the best Las Vegas buffets and that is their “pasta station”. At their “pasta station” you can order the type of pasta you enjoy most (from the small variety offered) along with either red or white sauce as well as other meat and seasonings that are your favorite. They will prepare this for you as you wait. A couple of us have tried this and found it to be quite good.
The buffet line is really quite short and offers basically the same items every day, including prime rib, carved turkey, ham, steaks and chops with a few changes from time to time, which is not unlike all the other buffets in Las Vegas. They also offer Chinese wok entrees, fresh seafood, peeled shrimp and sushi. There is always a soup selection, salad bar and fresh fruits. Complimentary beer and wine are served daily with the dinner buffet, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic beverages.
