Palms Bistro Buffet

Beginning with this review, we will make a point of mentioning what “diabetic foods” and/or deserts are available at the buffets we cover. So let’s begin.

The PALMS BISTRO BUFFET offers a nice variety of “sugar free” or “no sugar added” deserts. Among them are chocolate pudding pie, coconut creme pie, banana creme pie and lemon meringue pie. It is this writers opinion that everyone, diabetic or not, should try the lemon meringue pie.

The PALMS BISTRO BUFFET is not the “cheapest buffet in Las Vegas” nor is it the “best buffet in Las Vegas“. It is a moderately priced buffet and when considering other buffets in Las Vegas that are similar in price, their food selection is below average. The buffet is located just off the casino floor and there is a discount for those who have a “players card” at the casino. The buffet decor is nicely done in a modern style. Although there is a breakfast and lunch buffet this article will cover the dinner buffet.

As you might expect you can start your buffet experience by visiting the salad bar or perhaps choosing one of the soups that are offered, which change on a daily basis.

The PALMS BISTRO BUFFET offers a variety of foods including, American, Asian, International, Lebanese and Italian as well as a carving station where you can find turkey, roast beef and salmon. As is common practice among Las Vegas buffets, items on the menu vary from day to day, but there are “staples” that you will find most every day.

Depending on individual tastes, sometimes you may get a slice of roast beef of some other meat selection on the buffet line that is not cooked exactly the way you may like it. We found that all you need do is ask one of the line workers to have your selection cooked to your preference and they will be happy to accommodate you. In fact, we found the personnel at the buffet from the cashier and hostess down through the servers to be very pleasant and accommodating.
